On Saturday morning, Israeli soldiers closed one of the two main entrances of the Al-Mughayir village, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, just two days after opening it; the second main entrance was never opened.
The village’s two entrances were closed for nineteen days before the soldiers reopened, Thursday, the western entrance but kept the eastern entrance closed.
Media sources said the soldiers prevented the Palestinians from entering or leaving the village, forcing them to take longer, unpaved streets.
The army also handed Nael Rashid Al-Haj Mohamamd an order to annex five Dunams of his land near the village’s eastern entrance to build a fortified military tower.
In addition, the soldiers handed Rezeq Abu Naim a military order to stop the construction of a barn and an agricultural shed on his land at the eastern entrance of Al-Mughayir.
